Enjoy a day of displays, demonstrations and talks about early and contemporary textile work in New England. There will be demonstrations in quilting, spinning natural dyeing, and historical dating of textiles and quilt patterns. There will also be an antique sock machine on hand. Inside the Meeting House, there will be displays of traditional and antique quilts as well as contemporary quilts from around New England. Hourly discussions with visiting speakers will provide information on different fiber arts. For kids, there will be hands on activities outside under the tent and light refreshments will be served.
