New England’s colonial meetinghouses embody an important yet little- known chapter in American history. Built mostly with tax money, they served as both places of worship and for town meetings, and were the centers of life in colonial New England communities. Presenter Paul Wainwright has a long-standing interest in photography and a love of history.
Service will be arranged by Rev. Campbell Lovett of Holderness. Come enjoy a contemplative morning and a chance to tour the Meeting House.
Come Celebrate the DMHA’s Second Annual Meeting. There will be a business meeting and election of officers at 2 p.m.
Learn about the ways that fiber was important in New Hampshire in early times. Demonstrations of carding, spinning, weaving will be available. Displays of quilts and other important fiber crafts necessary for the early homestead.
