Dear Friends,
We send greetings and wishes that you have been enjoying a lovely Christmas Season with family and friends despite the extra challenges of the pandemic.
To date, the Dana Meeting House Association (DMHA) has raised $5500 out of the $ 10,000 needed. We are so thankful that this fledgling organization has elicited such generosity in its second year as a 501 (c) 3 organization. That is such a statement of shared passion and good will towards preserving the past and trusting the Organization towards stewarding this historic treasure.

Did you know that there is an extra TAX INCENTIVE for 2020 thanks to the CARES Act? The CARES Act, that was passed by Congress in March 2020 allowed for a unique “above the line” exemption. For the rest of 2020, an individual will be able to deduct up to $300 and couples up to $600, irrespective of whether or not you itemize deduction. This “above the line” deduction (10b) is a special line item that is unique to this year—it has never before been legislated in the past.

For the rest of 2020, an individual will be able to deduct up to $300 and couples up to $600, irrespective of whether or not you itemize deductions. This “above the line” deduction is for this year only.

As we approach the end of the year, we hope you might consider passing this information on to friends to let them know the difference they can make with an end of year gift to the Dana Meeting House Association. Thank you!
All gifts above $100 will receive a package of 4 winter greeting cards with art work by Laurel Wilkinson of Tamworth. In this country scene, photo posted here, Laurel has captured the peaceful setting of rural life in the neighborhood of the Dana Meeting House in bygone years.

Special thanks to everyone who has donated in 2020 and to all the volunteers who are the backbone of the DMHA!

We wish you all a very Happy New Year and look forward to this coming season when we can celebrate this New Hampshire legacy together.
